Thanks for looking in on the Miners Creek Hideaway Campground and RV Park, a beautiful getaway spot in the northeast corner of Iowa. A spring-fed, cold-water stream runs through the camp and you can explore and enjoy the nature trails around us.

Set in a valley just on the edge of Guttenberg, Iowa we have

** 4 cabins and a park model home that can accommodate 2-7 people,

** 50+ camp sites with hookups,

** additional tent and primitive camping spaces, and

** a modern shower house with handicap accessible restrooms and soft-water showers for our guests.

We still have a few seasonal campsites available at Miner’s Creek Hideaway for the 2019 season – cement pads, shower house, hook-ups.  Give Steve or Barb a call today at 563-252-2811

Denny Schlueter & Family would like to welcome Steve & Barb to the campground business! Denny will be helping this year to make sure the transition goes smoothly.

The Schlueter family would also like to thank all their camping families for helping make Miners Creek Hideaway the great campground that it has become.  Again, we THANK YOU!  Have a great camping season!

                                                                              The Schlueter Family

It's also the perfect spot for weddings, anniversary parties and family or class reunions

Optimum driving directions:  at the south edge of Guttenberg, turn west onto C7X/Garber Road and then take an immediate RIGHT onto Miner's Creek Road; it's now a hard surface road all the way to the campground - watch for us on the left nestled up against the foot of the hill.        Click here to get PDF photo of the campground layout
